I exercise, eat a plant-based diet, and have a family and job that a love.  But is it enough?  As part my New Year's goals, I created a long reading list of books I might not read otherwise, and posted it to my office wall. Towards the top of the list was a book called Blue Zones: Lessons for Living Longer from the People Who've Lived the Longest by Dan Buettner. In it, Dan seeks out the communities around the world that are living the longest, and tries to discover their recipe for longevity.  In today's episode, Doug and I discuss those discoveries, how they apply to our current lifestyles, and what areas we need to improve. It's a different style podcast than our usual back-and-forth or interview, but it was a lively discussion that required us to really examine our choices.  My hope is that this topic will encourage you to do the same.    Here's what we talk about in this episode:    What it would be like to live forever  Is our current lifestyle really helping us live longer?  The role being an athlete plays in longevity  Removing stress and building your tribe  The plant-based diet and living to be 100  Click the button below to listen now:"}
