{"id":11113,"date":"2010-08-31T13:47:37","date_gmt":"2010-08-31T17:47:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nomeatathlete.com\/?p=11113"},"modified":"2019-11-13T13:18:50","modified_gmt":"2019-11-13T18:18:50","slug":"robert-cheeke-interview","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nomeatathlete.com\/robert-cheeke-interview\/","title":{"rendered":"Vegan Bodybuilder Robert Cheeke"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It doesn&#8217;t matter whether or not you give a damn about bodybuilding.\u00a0 As a vegetarian or vegan, you should be proud to call Robert Cheeke one of your own.<\/p>\n<p>Robert is one of the most passionate people you&#8217;ll ever come across.\u00a0 Besides running his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.veganbodybuilding.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">vegan bodybuilding<\/a> website, Robert tirelessly tours the country speaking about veganism and motivation, with little apparent interest in cashing in financially on his status as &#8220;The World&#8217;s Most Recognized Vegan Bodybuilder.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Robert&#8217;s only motive, as far as I can tell, is to be the best advocate for veganism he can possibly be, driven by a love for animals rather than a perceived benefit on athletic performance.<\/p>\n<p>I spoke to Robert just days after he signed a book deal for his vegan bodybuilding manual, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/0984391606\/ref=as_li_tf_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=nomeaath-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373&amp;creativeASIN=0984391606\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Vegan Bodybuilding and Fitness<\/em><\/a>, which prior to now has been self-published.\u00a0 Let me tell you: Robert&#8217;s incredible attitude and positivity absolutely shine through in his writing and speaking.
