These blog posts resonated with me deeply, especially “The problem was my very narrow definition of fitness: when I imagined myself being fit again, I only did so in terms of what I had done before.”

I have been a competitive runner for the better part of 40 years, and a triathlete for at least 10. I’ve been mostly plant based (love your cookbook – especially the calorie bomb cookies) for 15 years, and recently finished Ironman Lake Placid. My body has not bounced back as quickly as I would like, and I struggle to think of any workout outside of swimming, biking, and running as a workout. I appreciate this and am going to invest Pavel’s book, and reframe my thinking.
