Hi Matt – I hadn’t gotten a reply on this comment, but I wanted you to know that I ran Indianapolis last November, and I beat my qualifying time by 15 minutes. 🙂 This book definitely worked for me! I’m going to Boston dang it!

I’ve been following this book for my Nov. 4 marathon, and I have 5 weeks to go. My question is this: I hit the pace they set sometimes in only 2 out of 3 of the workouts. So far I have ALWAYS hit the pace for the longer run, but some of the sprints are laughably fast. I either live in a town that’s too hilly (Madison, WI), or I just take longer to warm up than this one run will require. Does this mean I don’t have a shot at the BQ? I chose a race that’s very flat, so I’m hoping that helps… this will be my 8th marathon, but faster than I’ve done in the past. Thanks!
