In the book, Dr. Fuhrman says that a little mustard is okay and suggests that people who “must” add salt use low-sodium options and add the salt directly to their food after they are done preparing it. The main point he is trying to make is that we shouldn’t eat too much sodium because it can cause health problems.

I lost the 35lb I gained and kept it off for 3 years until I gained it slowly again. Now I am ready to step up to the challenge. Lack of salt and oil are my husband’s problems; for me it’s carbs. I love my carbs. I am already a fish eating vegan, allergic to tree nuts and peanuts, and celiac through allergies. Here’s hoping I can find the determination to cope with it and stay the course!
A good review though
