I’ve done a few marathons before and a 50km and this was my worst run yet. I totally lost the mental battle on the last 10km. Looking back at previous training I realised I’ve never ran that far in the lead up to a marathon and kind of wish I hadn’t. Now to work on some shorter ones in the next couple of weeks and pushing that awful feeling out of my head! Any tips of keeping in the right head space in the marathon lead-up?
