Based on the comments, it looks like your article was posted some 9 or 10 years ago. I just discovered it today, November 2021; and I want to add my appreciation to that expressed by others. I fully recognized myself in your “before” process; because I too tend to do what my mom always called, “biting off more than I can chew”. What I didn’t know is how to remedy it. I found enough helpful hints/suggestions in your article to encourage me to keep trying. I find that prayer has always helped me too. When I surrender my day to God and ask for His guidance, I am always amazed by how stress-free, seamless and productive my day is! So, at the top of my list of habits I want to make is to take the time to pray (aka meditate), to seek the Lord, and surrender to what He wants to do through me and in me for the day. The funny thing is…I was praying for wisdom to be more disciplined just this morning before I discovered your article. Look at God! All the glory and honor belong to Him! Thank you for allowing yourself to be a vessel to bless others with your transparency. I hope and pray that your journey is still going onward and upward!
